《航海類中等職業(yè)院校英語系列:航海基礎(chǔ)英語》共20課，內(nèi)容包括國際船員常用的問候、道別、接待、問路、通話、購物、乘機、住宿等英語基本會話，船上實際的楊帆出航、航海實習(xí)、航海值班、甲板例行工作等英語初步應(yīng)用，船員如何書寫電子郵件、如何進行自我推介、家庭與家鄉(xiāng)情況描述的英語實用應(yīng)對。在介紹這些實用英語基礎(chǔ)的過程中是以句子訓(xùn)練、圖例、圖解為主，歸納總結(jié)語音、語言現(xiàn)象與規(guī)律，盡量避免使用過多的傳統(tǒng)英語語音與語法術(shù)語，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生掌握入門英語。
