本書以“聽說法”和“交際法”為基本理念,依托“情景”訓練的實戰模式,精心設計了以“交際”為主線,以“聽說訓練為本”的內容結構。
口語訓練中無論是聽的過程還是說的過程,學習者都必須學會根據情景傳達的信息,把抽象的語言變成形象的畫面反映于腦海之中。這樣有了形象化語言的幫助,就更有利于口語訓練,在理解聽說情景的同時能夠循序漸進地學會直接用英語來思維和理解。
語言是思維的載體。在口語訓練中,大腦相當于一個思維轉換器,“聽”是輸入,“說”是輸出。因此,要做到“聽進去,說出來”,不僅要學會用英語思維,而且重要的是要解決“聽進去”的問題。通常人們普遍認為,“聽難說易”,似乎聽不懂也能說上幾句。本書主張口語訓練要張開口,大膽說,在說中去表達對會話情景和內容的理解,用心模仿“聽”環節中的各種語言點和細節,從而使“聽”、“說”兩種密不可分的能力循序漸進地得到提升。
