東林學派的創始人顧憲成是明代后期著名的哲學家、思想家和講學者。他主持興復東林書院,開展講學活動,對明代晚期的思想界和社會有著極大的影響。
作為宋明理學史上的一位重要哲學家,顧憲成對朱熹和王陽明的哲學思想進行了批判性繼承,對整個理學(心學)作出了批判意義的總結,同時極大地推動了明清之際的思想轉向,可以說顧氏是推動宋明理學轉向清代實學的重要代表,其思想在中國哲學史上具有重要的地位。本書對顧憲成的哲學思想進行全面而深細的梳理,通過辨析幾組重要的哲學概念——道統論、先天與后天、性善、本體與工夫等——來詳細考察和全面把握顧氏的哲學思想,同時展示了其哲學思想與宋明理學(特別是朱熹和王陽明)之間的淵源和異同。

李可心,1985年生,清華大學哲學博士,師從陳來教授。現為蘭州大學哲學社會學院副教授,從事中國哲學教學科研工作。主要研究領域為宋明理學(特別是東林學派思想研究)、老莊哲學,同時以中國哲學史為整體研究對象。點校《小心齋札記》《涇皋藏稿》(中國社會科學出版社,2020年),發表學術論文數十篇。
