本書的課文和閱讀材料全部選自近年來英國、美國、澳大利亞等國太陽能光伏專業(yè)教材和專業(yè)刊物,共8個單元,50篇課文。涵蓋了太陽輻射、半導(dǎo)體材料、晶體硅太陽電池、薄膜太陽電池、太陽電池組件、光伏發(fā)電系統(tǒng)概述、光伏發(fā)電系統(tǒng)應(yīng)用及其他可再生能源等內(nèi)容。所選文章題材多樣,內(nèi)容新穎,學(xué)科前沿知識豐富,融知識性和趣味性于一體。本書可作為應(yīng)用型高等院校的半導(dǎo)體物理與器件、材料科學(xué)與工程、光伏材料加工與應(yīng)用等專業(yè)的教材,也可作為高職高專太陽能光伏技術(shù)與應(yīng)用相關(guān)專業(yè)的教材和光伏企業(yè)的培訓(xùn)教材,同時可供從事太陽能光伏相關(guān)行業(yè)研究和開發(fā)的工程技術(shù)人員參考使用。
《光伏專業(yè)英語》每一章均由若干篇課文和一篇課外閱讀材料組成,且所選閱讀材料提供了與該章課文對應(yīng)的背景知識或者是課文的續(xù)篇,從而進一步拓展了課文的內(nèi)容。本書分為8章,包括閱讀材料在內(nèi)共50篇課文,其中前7章的內(nèi)容分別對應(yīng)于太陽能光伏發(fā)電從上游到下游的整個產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈,內(nèi)容涵蓋了太陽輻射、半導(dǎo)體材料、晶體硅太陽電池、薄膜太陽電池、太陽電池組件、光伏發(fā)電系統(tǒng)概述及光伏發(fā)電系統(tǒng)應(yīng)用。此外,本書最后一章簡單介紹了除太陽能光伏發(fā)電外的其他可再生能源(如太陽熱能、風(fēng)能等)。本書由郭連貴主編。
