本書結合作者十多年來從事大學生就業服務與教學一線的工作經歷,提煉了30個容易令大學生困惑的就業問題,將與應屆生就業緊密相關的大學與就業求職準備初入職場三個模塊分別予以闡述。內容涵蓋怎樣找到自己的優勢、如何處理學校及專業與就業的關系、怎樣有針對性地準備就業、怎么進行就業選擇、初入職場如何應對等,并結合真實案例進行解讀,且輔以插圖,可讀性較強。本書可供大學生自學,亦可供就業指導工作者參考。
朱德庸先生說:做自己喜歡的事情,那是一種幸福;喜歡自己做的事,那是一種惜福,如果我們成不了幸福的人,至少可以做一個惜福的人。回想起來,在不知不覺陪伴中,我與一屆又一屆畢業生走過了十四年,對于日益嚴峻的就業形勢,其實我能做的很少,好在因為深入其中,對于這項工作也有了自己的理解與喜歡。在和畢業生一起體會艱辛的同時,也和他們一起經歷了收獲的幸福,也算領略到惜福與幸福之間,是有通路的。
在一次分享會上,一位碩士畢業選擇讀博士的畢業生表達了他對于科研的理解與喜歡:寫一篇學術論文,就是要去講一個也許被人忽略了卻依然很有價值的故事。為了把這個故事講得精彩些,我愿意多下些功夫。
他的話讓我不禁想到:自己這么多年與大學生們相伴走過的求職路上,是否也積累了被忽略卻依然有價值的故事?
袁岳先生在一篇《干小活》的文章里說道:如果我們思考大活,那大半只是一種念頭,因為思考國家大事,并沒有可練手的機會。小活就不一樣,你想做隨時有得做。對于服務畢業生就業的小活,于我而言,真是想做隨時有得做。如果能干一件講個故事或分享個案例這樣的小活,故事與案例本身的被忽略有價值和精彩能兼具誠然好,但只顧及一點也還能被接納的話,無疑在就業這個關系民生的國家大事和隨手可做的小活中間找到了一個可靠的連接,不能不說是一種幸福。
所以我決定干點小活,把自己認為的收獲拿出來分享。
絕大多數應屆生的求職,要經歷的是一個之前沒有相關經驗的大轉變、一個從無到有的過程。對于身在這個過程中的人,內心的焦慮來源于諸多的不確定,也許還來源于機會的不平等,這種焦慮是自然的,也是本質的。
作為一個與求職者相伴的同行者來說,力求盡可能多地給予其有共性特征的信息。另外,對于你們承擔的壓力希望能給予一些理解。
為了順應當前讀圖時代的趨勢,我特意在書中加了一些插圖,就水平而言,充其量只能算是我自學階段的習作,并且是請一位已畢業的研究生同學幫忙并手繪而成。對于那些終日奔波于各個招聘會現場的求職者,只消搭一眼的功夫,若能心領神會,也許會有些微幫助。
鑒于求職過程的個性化實在太突出,求職能力的提升嚴格意義上來說不在于別人的經驗,而在于體驗。就業成功的真理只有在真正的勞動力市場上才能得到最好的檢驗!
也就是說,就業作為一項關乎個人發展的大事,關乎其指導技能的各方面的進步,絕不僅僅取決于目前稱之為就業指導者們的進步,而在于越來越多的人及其越來越豐富的一線體驗。我們能做的,而且迫切需要做的,就是不斷地從供大于求的市場現狀帶給我們的無助、挫敗的狀態中掙脫出來,從不少前輩不斷尋求光明的經驗中積攢信心與希望。
