唐德根，男，1949年10月生，湖南永州市人.現(xiàn)任湘潭大學(xué)外國(guó)語學(xué)院黨委書記兼副院長(zhǎng)、英語語言文學(xué)教授。20世紀(jì)90年代中期，赴澳大利亞留學(xué)一年作者主持湖南省教委科研項(xiàng)目?jī)蓚�(gè)，承擔(dān)省社科規(guī)劃課題一項(xiàng)，主持湖南省高校《更新英語專業(yè)主干課程教學(xué)內(nèi)容的探討與實(shí)踐》獲湖南省教學(xué)成果二等獎(jiǎng)：出版《中國(guó)學(xué)生英語交際失誤分析》、《跨文化交際學(xué)》等學(xué)術(shù)專著及教材6部：翻譯國(guó)防科技文獻(xiàn)200余萬字、在英國(guó)、澳大利亞、香港的學(xué)術(shù)刊物、國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)術(shù)核心期刊及文集上作者發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文40余篇，論文《跨文化教學(xué)》曾獲湖南省外國(guó)語言文學(xué)與翻譯成果獎(jiǎng)、其主要學(xué)術(shù)研究方向?yàn)檎Z言學(xué)、跨文化交際學(xué)和跨文化語用學(xué)。
